A few words from the school…

Vasse Primary School is lucky to be situated amongst beautiful gardens and trees. Our Early Years playground located under the Peppi trees was revamped a few years ago and we are continually working to improve it and other areas of the school. Early Years students especially love playing in the creek during the warmer months and older students love playing amongst the trees making cubbies with loose sticks on the edge of the oval. Recently some of our teachers have had professional learning in Nature Play and are working to ensure all the different types of outdoor play (special places, Hunting and Gathering, Small Worlds, Fantasy and Imagination, Animal Allies, Adventure, Maps and Pathways) are able to be included in our play areas. We also use our environment as an outdoor classroom and we are aiming to do this on a more regular basis.
