Maggie Dent spoke with Oliver Peterson from Perth Live recently about Girlhood. In this interview, Maggie draws on her own experiences as an educator, counselor, mother, and grandmother and discusses the developmental significance of the first 5 years of a girl’s life and how that shapes who she will become in the future.
“I wanted to work out whether it was true if they were a little bit sharper, with incredible imaginations and a little bit more complicated. And we found significant difference.”
Oly further asked Maggie whether she has noticed a difference in young parents in today’s times.
“There’s been a huge change. There’s way too much information out there and parents feel way too much pressure to get it right,” she said.
