In this very special masterclass for parents and educators, Maggie Dent and highly respected Australian speaker, author and educator Lael Stone team up for the first time to share their approach to raising happy, compassionate, resilient children.

For many reasons, parenting is more difficult today than it used to be. In an ideal world, as we strive to be our ‘best selves’, we would consistently parent our children with loving connectedness and compassionate boundaries. In turn, they would have the best possibility of responding in ways that would be beneficial for all in the home.

However, in reality, as humans growing up other humans, we are frequently challenged by daily moments in our homes and education spaces – as well as by our own internal and external stressors. Spontaneous moments of big feelings – especially painful and difficult emotions – sleep challenges, squabbling, defiance, aggression, not listening … it’s no simple task living and working with kids.
