In this “Maggie Soother”, parenting author Maggie Dent talks about a process that she used to use with children and adults when she was counselling to stop worries from ruminating in their minds.
Maggie shares the metaphor of a ‘worry basket’ where kids can place their worries before they go to sleep, or when they feel they’re mounting. She also shares a writing exercise that adults or children can use to cast away their worries so they don’t stay stuck in our minds.
