Introduction from the school:

Lisieux’s Outdoor Discovery Program has been designed to encourage students to connect to their local environment and to become confident, curious learners. It fosters students’ sense of belonging and encourages the use of all senses to explore and wonder.

Outdoor Discovery is an inquiry-based approach, with links to other areas of the curriculum including Religious Education, 100 Languages and Literacy. It creates opportunities to explore, to interact with others, to engage in risk-taking experiences and to connect with nature.

The program is based on site in our bush setting, while further opportunities to interact with the local coast area are integrated into our excursion program.
